Audio Visual Senior Service Technician Job Description:
Ability to manage accounts on service contracts, coordinate with clients and contractors.
Experienced trouble shooting and repairing array speakers, sound board issues, software, hardware, short circuits, sound distortions and anything else that is disrupting normal quality sound operations.
Knowledgeable with signal flow, troubleshooting/ client etiquette, service documentation, and willing to take additional training/courses.
Assist with service installation add on s, upgrades; installing cabling and equipment for multiple AV projects including conferencing, Crestron, AMX, processors, touch panels, video walls, sounds distribution, sound masking, intercoms, and panel automation: lighting & shades.
Install equipment such as: microphones, speakers, IP camera, projectors, video displays transmitters, receivers, blue tooth devices, sound systems, amplifiers, processors, and component distribution on rack.
Perform terminations of: RJ45, Keystone connectors, RG6, BNC, RCA, VGA, HDMI, DB9 & solder XLR connectors.
Perform systems programming by dumping codes, testing system for normal operations.
Troubleshoot and repair systems to finalize commissioning.
Assist project manager with handing over new install to customer and training end users on their AV system.
