Fire Alarm Installer - Job Description
Prepares for fire alarm installations by assisting onsite supervisor with gathering equipment, supplies and reviewing scope of work.
Plans fire alarm installations by laying out equipment, confirming with the supervisor installation requirements and wiring plans.
Establishes fire alarm system by installing equipment; pulling wires; mounting and wiring initiating devices and notification appliances such as; pull stations, strobes, sirens, smoke detectors.
Ability to install circuits and equipment while; adhering to fire codes, regulations, and standards.
Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safety practices and keeping security information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Basic Requirement:
Must have Valid Driver s License and own transportation.
Must be able to pass pre- employment drug screen.
Must be able to pass extensive criminal background check.
Must be able to work flexible schedule.
