In this role you will primarily install, program, troubleshoot, service, maintain and repair electronic security access control, alarm monitoring panels, CCTV cameras and VMS recording servers. This includes; Card Readers, door position switches, magnetic locks, electric strikes, electric lock sets, Chexit device exit devices, voice video intercom/remote release devices, emergency (panic button) alarms and silent alarm switches, conventional analog fixed and PTZ cameras, IP based video encoders, IP based fixed and PTZ cameras and VMS recording servers and storage arrays. 

Key competencies include:

· Experience & knowledge with installation and service on access control systems

· Experience & knowledge with installation and service on video surveillance systems (Avigilon experience a plus)

· Experience & knowledge with installation and service on intrusion detection systems

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to develop, train, and manage a technician apprentice

· Ability to communicate professionally with clients and co-workers

· Ability to work with and learn systems from a variety of companies

· Ability to run electrical wiring, make connections at control panels, conceal wires, and install equipment

Requirements:

· High School Degree or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license with a clean record

· Security Technician - Massachusetts (Class D License) Required

· Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check. 

Location:

· Warwick – service area can include central Ma east up to NH.
