Summary/Objective
The Commercial Security Sales Executive is responsible for enterprising new business relationships and selling new commercial building security, camera, door access and fire protection services by performing daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have sales experience with building security, door access and hunting for new commercial business. However, applicants with no security sales experience will be considered.
Essential Functions

- Prospect and sell new commercial customers
- Successfully complete Sandler Sales and internal security training
- Accurately record sales, activity and customer information in ConnectWise CRM
- Achieve new sales goals set by Watchmen Security Services
Work Environment
This job operation involves outside sales activity in indoor and outdoor environments, work from home and office setting situations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, drive an automobile and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift overhead and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of two years of experience selling to the commercial building market
- Completion of some sales training such as Sandler Training
- Effective communication skills with the ability to listen and understand instructions
