*Low Voltage Technician II - Madison WI*

Looking for driven dedicated technicians passionate about becoming craftsmen of the low voltage industry, join Sprinter Business Solutions with a focus on building the best techs in Low Voltage, currently hiring for local and travel positions including short and long term projects.

This position (LVII-MWI) will primarily work in the Madison WI metro including a long term project with multiple buildings across a large campus where you will build out pathways, including J-Hooks, cable tray, and basket tray, install firewall penetrations, label, pull, terminate and dress cat6a, fiber, coax, and grounding cable throughout an active medical facility.

Working with a small team, being able to follow directions, read blueprints, document work, lead yourself while working on your own and keep on schedule by working efficiently, safely, and cleanly is mission critical. This position is primarily 4 x 10hr or 5 x 8hrs shifts a week, but will require frequent variations including afterhours and weekend work for select clients or projects and will be scheduled accordingly. All employees will be subject to federal background check, fingerprinting, 100% drug and alcohol free workplaces and may also require additional verifications on federal and state contracts.

Key experience and skillsets desired:

  • Trades experience in active brownfield construction sites, including following Osha regulations, industrial and healthcare environments, following safety plans, working in containment carts, working in confined space regulated spaces, indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Low Voltage or Electrical Experience of 3+ years, we do have training as well if coming from another trade.
  • Comfortable and safe on ladders, in confined spaces, and can manage tools and materials in active work and client environments
  • Experience with mounting and building mechanisms in concrete, steel and related materials in high-rise buildings
  • Able to keep a clean work cart, clean environment, and clean presentation -A desire to constantly improve skills and learn new things
  • A desire to be a craftsmen in all that one does

Certifications:

  • Osha 10 required (can be obtained in first 10 days), Osha 30 preferred
  • Bicsi technician encouraged, can be optained in the first 6-12 months.
