Access Security Parking Integrated Solutions (ASPIS) is growing and recently merged with Access Control Systems, LLC (ACS). Around since 1987, ACS is Nashville’s largest automated gate and parking/revenue control system installer. In addition, we install and service commercial overhead doors along with video surveillance. With thirty years spent building lasting relationships in the community before expanding into the rest of Tennessee, Atlanta, and Florida, our team is looking to build the same lasting relationships with those we bring onboard. We are currently looking to hire experienced Overhead Door Service Technicians. Dependability, honesty, and punctuality are important traits to have and we cannot deliver what we do not possess. Our service team is the backbone of the company and in recognition of this, we are offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus to any experienced Overhead Door Technician. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Overhead Door Service Technician is responsible for servicing overhead doors. This role also assists with the installation of gates and access control.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Servicing of overhead doors
  • Diagnose and resolve errors and technical problems
  • Preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Installation of new equipment
  • Record service calls in dispatching system including time, service provided and material
  • Educate customers on preventive maintenance and safety measures
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe manner
  • Maintain and develop good customer relationships
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Regular attendance at work
  • Other tasks as assigned by management


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, ACS will conduct a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to perform physical work outdoors year-round in a variety of weather elements
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to different work schedules. Every 7-8 weeks, you will be on call 24 hours a day for 1 week
  • Ability to trouble shoot, test, repair and service PARC equipment
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English
  • Good time management skills
  • Must be able to install heavy equipment
  • Aptitude to learn

Preferred:

  • Experience with electronic equipment repairs
  • Technical degree or certification in electronics

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment and is subject to weather extremes (heat, cold, sun, wind, rain, or if applicable in your geographic area, snow). Duties may require digging for long periods of time. Occasional need to drive a vehicle to other work locations.

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
